Give 'Anju' the time he needs. Who was in power for so long when this problem was festering into what it is now? Undercover work takes time, informants take time to feel safe and see other informants talk and live. It will take time for the criminals to get hungry and desperate and show their heads in new and old places. I think if we stick with it, there will be a big clean up of guns and dons in 18 months to 24 months. But if you can leverage the reputation gap between your military background and the police, and if you can cultivate an appetite for innovation, you just might cross this river that has swept away all before you. If I were you I would ask your old soldier friends to recruit a squad of undercover army intelligence officers to go out into the field. Just don't tell the police anything about it. Very true. They need to advertise a number to call the soldiers with information on criminals. Not the police. Jamaicans trust soldiers way more than police. Anything go wrong in these communities the first thing you see is a woman on the news bawling "we want some soldier round here!" Anyway, this is the last chance for St. James. Did not know Sean Paul played water polo. That is a very physically demanding sport, the training is murder too. Most Jamaicans who think they can swim can't swim for 2 minutes straight. Think of how easy you 'buss' and tired if you were playing football at the highest level. Now imagine you swimming the whole time. It's interesting that shaggy was a soldier and now I find out that Sean Paul played a tough sport. It just goes to show that discipline was ingrained in these guys long before they went into entertainment. Don't watch the style. These are hardcore workers (they say Bob was a workaholic too). Add to that list to remove all tints on cars that you can't see through. These criminals are driving around under the cover of in tinted vehicles day and night. It's as if you give a man a license to walk around with a face mask. It's not hard to tell who is the murderer if he is the only one breaking the law with a mask (same with tint). They are also returning from their night murder raids to their home base in the early morning in tinted vehicles. If they can't drive under cover they cant do the murder raids. Also , if you want to stop your car being stolen, remove the tint. They will not take the chance to get caught being seen driving a stolen car. They will move on to a tinted one.
